100 years anniversary

Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Polish Home Association in Seattle.

In my role, I developed illustrations, and graphics that were not only visually appealing but also aligned with the identity of the Polish Home in Seattle. I ensured that all information was presented in a clear and organized manner.

I designed an illustrated poster celebrating Polish heritage, which was featured at the Seattle Polish Festival at Seattle Center in 2018. The poster depicted a couple in traditional folk costumes joyfully dancing classic Polish dances. The design was intentionally simple, using the red and white colors of the Polish flag to honor the nation’s spirit. In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Polish Home Association in Seattle, I designed a commemorative banner that still proudly hangs on the Polish Home building at 1714 18th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122. The banner features two photographs of our community in front of the building: one from 1918 and another from 2018, capturing a century of heritage and togetherness.

From these projects, I learned how to design visuals that resonate with cultural identity while being both engaging and meaningful. I honed my ability to convey stories and traditions through simple yet impactful graphics. Additionally, I gained valuable experience in ensuring that each design element, from posters to banners, serves a purpose in celebrating and preserving the heritage of the community.
